SELECTION GUIDE #1 - WAREHOUSE CARD HOLDERS & POUCHES
SHELF TAG SUPPLY offers many card and label holders to display bar code labels and location cards for both scanning and human readability. These holders are designed in various styles to be applied throughout your warehouse, distribution center or storage facility. Choose and compare samples of the styles which best match your specifications.

Adhesive:
Each card holder is constructed with a strong adhesive tape strips as a backing with the exception of the Rack and Shelf style which has a full back side pressure-sensitive adhesive. Holders are intended for more permanent placement.

Magnetic:
Each card holder is constructed with lengthwise magnetic strips as a backing with the exception of the Rack and Shelf style which has a full back side magnet and the Magnetic Rubber C-Channel style which is entirely a magnetic material. Holders are ideal for placements that may be relocated.

Hanging:
Each card holder is constructed with one to four holes for hanging from a rack, shelf, pegboard, part or equipment. Hanging Tag Pouches include cinch straps.

Slide-in:
Each card holder is designed to slide-in a bar code or product location card. Some are available in shelf wide and custom lengths.

Seal Close:
With a quick slide of a finger, the card holder becomes a sealed, clear vinyl envelopefor resistance against water, oil, dust, dirt and smudges.

Bump Resistant:
Forklift friendly card holder that bends and returns when bumped during stocking and picking without harming the card holder or the card inside.

Multiple Rack Levels:
Place bar code labels for all rack levels on one upright (vertical holder) or one cross beam (horizontal holder) for convenient and improved scanability.

Totes and Bins:
Each card holder can be attached to a tote or bin with our strong foam adhesive tape
strips backing (with the exception of the Rack and Shelf style which has a full back
side pressure-sensitive adhesive).

SELECTION GUIDE #2 - WAREHOUSE TAGS
SHELF TAG SUPPLY offers three varieties of hanging tags: (1) tags to attach a label, (2) tags to write-on, and (3) tags with clear vinyl pockets. These tags are designed in various styles to be utilized throughout your warehouse, distribution center or storage facility. Choose and compare samples of the styles which best match your specifications.
Labelling:
Each plastic hanging tag has one or two holes for adhering a bar code or SKU product label.

To Write-on:
Write inventory counts, codes, dates, initials or messages directly on these plastic or card hanging tags with a damp erase pen. Each tag has one or two holes to hang from a rack, shelf, part or equipment.

With Card Pockets:
Each tag is constructed with a clear vinyl pocket to hold a bar code label or product location card. Styles include from one to four holes for hanging.

SELECTION GUIDE #3 - WAREHOUSE LABELS & CARDS
SHELF TAG SUPPLY offers a variety of label and data card styles. They are designed for many marking and identification applications throughout your warehouse, distribution center or storage facility. Choose and compare samples of the styles which best match your needs.
Product Locations:
Bar code labels and product cards in styles for many warehouse environments and locations - clean, harsh, hanging overhead, multiple rack levels, etc. Submit your data to us and we print the high quality labels for you.

Property Identification:
ID labels to identify your property and assets which deters theft and loss, increases recovery rates, and maintains records for usage rates and insurance.

Handling Functions:
Organize receiving, stocking, inventory, picking and shipping with labels to write-on counts, dates, initials and notes and also color stickers to mark andidentify products and handling actions.

Numbering & Lettering:
Apply adhesive characters and arrows to racks, shelves, bins, cabinets, pallets,doors and other warehouse areas or use color stickers to indicate markings.

SELECTION GUIDE #4 - WAREHOUSE MAGNETS
SHELF TAG SUPPLY offers industrial strength magnets for a variety of applications in your warehouse. Indicate products, locations, styles and other criteria by color, shape or message content. Magnets move quickly and easily as space and priorities change.
Magnetic strength is determined principally by 3 factors:

  1. Magnet thickness – generally the thicker, the stronger
  2. Magnetic material – special ferrite content produces stronger “high energy” magnets (about 40% stronger than regular material) for the same thickness
  3. Smoothness of magnet and the surface it to which it is bonding– the smoother the surfaces, the stronger the bond

Time is another strength factor. An interesting phenomenon occurs when both the surfaces are quite smooth as is generally the case in shelf and rack applications. After 24 to 48 hours, the strength of the magnet bond may double, requiring twice as much force to slide the magnet out of position. It is believed that this results from the flexible magnetic material gradually flowing into the micro cavities of the other surface to increase the coefficient of friction. If the magnet is slid to a new position, it will take some time (1-2 days) to improve the bond again.

Bar Code Labels on Magnets:
Eliminate the hassle of peeling sticky labels - apply your labels to shelf magnets. Versatile magnets recommended in environments from 0-160° F.

Magnets to Write-on:

Write product/location data, counts, dates, initials and other information with a damp erase pen. Further differentiate by magnet color or shape.

Magnetic Identification:
Magnetic letters and numbers to indicate a location, message, name, etc.


Do-It-Yourself Magnetizing:
Magnetic tape roll to be cut to desired lengths for applying to items for magnetization - labels, signs, tags, posters, notices, clips and more. Dark surface color is not intended for write-on use.

SELECTION GUIDE #5 - WAREHOUSE SIGNS
SHELF TAG SUPPLY offers a variety of sign styles. They are designed for many marking and area identification throughout your warehouse, distribution center or storage facility. Choose and compare styles which best match your needs.

Rack & Aisle Locations:
Custom made signs with magnetic or adhesive attaching foot to indicates specific locations quickly and safely.

Hanging Areas:
Use signage suspended from the ceiling or crossbeams overhead to clearly display area locations.

Safety & Warning Functions:
Make safety, warning and specific messages extremely visible with bright characters and graphics on a white or yellow sign surface.

Indoor/Outdoor Signage:
Display aluminum signs with outdoor rated vinyl letters and numbers on docks, fence gates, yard areas, exterior doors, and other outdoor locations.

Custom Design & Content:
We create warehouse-style signs in sizes and designs custom made to your specifications. Most signs are available in white, yellow, blue, red, and green material colors. See lettering options below.
